It's been a bit surprising to see so much interest in the Tom Cruise -Suri Cruise story, as there isn't any new information. Tom hasn’t seen Suri, his 16-year old daughter, in over a decade. Suri was raised by Katie Holmes throughout her life. Many believe Katie was given sole custody of Suri after TomKat's divorce. That is a lie that I don't believe. Tom "gave in" to Suri, because the Church of Scientology convinced Tom so. Suri is getting older, and she will be going to college next year. This means that Tom's child support payments will end. You can be sure that Katie has a nest egg - she left the marriage with a substantial sum and her New York apartment.

Why are we hearing so much about Suri, Tom and others? Lainey speculated that this stuff might be coming from the British media, as Tom is now living in England and is cozying up with the British media. It could be. However, Rupert Murdoch, who owns tabloids and newspapers in the UK, has never been part of Team Tom Cruise or Team Scientology. This is how Nicole Kidman managed to escape CoS's grip back in the day. She cozied up with the Murdoch press, and they were "her side" during Tom's divorce. Murdoch and his media outlets are brought up because Page Six, part of Murdoch's NY Post, had a story this week about Tom Cruise.

Page Six has confirmed that Tom Cruise is still estranged from Suri Cruise. According to a source, the 60-year-old star of "Mission: Impossible," has not seen Suri Cruise in many years and is no longer a part her life.

Page Six reached out to Tom's representatives but they did not respond immediately. Suri was born to movie star Katie Holmes in April 2006. However, after their split in 2011, Suri and Katie became increasingly distant.

In transcripts of his 2012 defamation suit against Bauer Media, Tom stated that Suri had not seen him for three months after Holmes, now 44 years old, quit.

He told lawyers that a divorce can cause things to change. It's not a perfect scene. It's not an ideal scene." The "Top Gun" star admitted that Scientology ties played a key role in his separation from his child during a deposition. Tom answered the question, "That was one the assertions. Yes."

The church's rules forbid members from forming relationships with non-believers. This was again the case in 2016. According to reports, Tom could not have a relationship or friendship with Holmes or Suri because they were both Scientologists.

Page Six was told by a source that "this is his loss," the issue was his problem. "He must have been brainwashed."

Leah Remini, a former Scientologist, told The Post that Scientology considered Holmes a "suppressive" person, which is an enemy, and that Tom believes that Suri is not a possible target.

This tone is quite different from the sympathetic energy of Daily Mail's Suri cruise story. What is all this about? Tom needed some sympathy press, and the Murdoch media empire is making him feel like a slapper? The thing is, I don’t believe Tom is cosying up to the Daily Mail. Tom's current deal is flying under the radar, even when he'sn't promoting a movie. He doesn't want Suri, Bella, or Connor to be the focus of any conversation. He does not want to be focused on his personal life at the moment. I don't know what's happening, all of this to say.
