The Hollywood Reporter published a video last week for its male actors' roundtable. The conversation features six actors (Jeff Bridges, Kieran, Culkin, Damson, Imperioli, Pedro Pascal, Evan Peters ) who THR believes are leading candidates for Emmy nods in drama this year. The video's biggest hit was Kieran & Pedro playing off of each other, as Kaiser reported. The camaraderie began when Lacey Rose, the moderator, asked the men to tell about their fan encounters. Kieran began by saying that fans were too comfortable touching him. (In one instance, he was pushing a stroller with his child and snapped back at the fan: "No touchy !"). Pedro then upped the ante.
Pedro Pascal... met with Jeff Bridges and Kier Culkin on Wednesday for a roundtable with The Hollywood Reporter to discuss acting in dramas.
Pascal was the most memorable fan interaction that Pascal and his group had.
Pascal recalled how, after seeing the brutal death of Oberyn Martell in "Game of Thrones", fans recreated the scene where Martell had his eyes gouged during a death-defying fight with Gregor Clegane's (Hafthor Julius Bjornsson).
Pascal said that people were very interested in taking selfies of themselves with their thumbs pressed into my eyes. "At first, I let them because I was so happy and excited about the success the character had in the show."
He said that everything came to an end when he got an eye infection.
Culkin, the star of "Succession", responded: "Wow, what a great deal of trust."
Pascal has played other roles in popular shows, such as HBO's "The Last of Us", and Disney+'s "The Manalorian."
From USA Today
Let's start with the most important thing: keep your hands to yourself. They should ask the actor if they must. Under no circumstances should they assume that touching the eyes is not allowed. Kapish? This is a character-specific homage, yes, but it's not a good idea.
What really matters, however, is how adorable Pedro truly is. He exudes the relaxed energy of a person who has worked hard to achieve this career and is clearly enjoying it. His playful energy is contagious. Evan Peters, on the other hand, has been a favorite of mine in every role I've ever seen. But when asked by the moderator what his fans said to him, he only replied "can I take your picture". You can do much better, Evan.
