Podcast #153 of 'Gossip with Celebitchy: Martha Stewart wants her workers available 24 hours a day

Intro: From 0-7:45, we have two new writers: Carina and Kismet. We also have two new comment moderators. Everyone is amazing! I loved watching Somebody Somewhere, which was on HBO. Shiny Happy People, the Duggar documentary that I watched on Amazon. It was well made but difficult to take. Chandra loved Succession but found Ted Lasso lacking. She also enjoyed Cocaine Bear, but disliked Scream 6. Listen to the audio below!

Minutes 7:45 - 23:15 This past week, Prince Harry gave testimony in his case against The Mirror Group of newspapers. He was calm and composed during the cross-examination, made a convincing case and made many headlines. His testimony was heartbreaking. Spare omitted a lot of this information, likely because of his ongoing litigation. Piers Morgan was criticized for his hurtful stories published in the months before his mother's death, and for harassing both him and Meghan. Meghan's name is not included in this lawsuit because it covers only up to 2011. This is why the British media is confused. This case involves 33 articles about Harry. The only thing that his side has to do is prove hacking in just one of the articles.

The firm sent Princess Kate out to draw attention while Harry was giving his testimony. She visited the Windsor Family Hub Tuesday, and the women there were apparently only informed a half-hour before her arrival that she would be bringing photographers. On Wednesday, she took part in a rugby match.

Charles, in an apparent attempt to avoid Harry's attention, announced to the media that he was going to be at his Transylvania home this week. After five days, he returned to London.

William and Kate attended Crown Prince Hussein’s royal wedding last week in Jordan and looked as angry as ever. I'll play a Zoom clip in which we discussed that.

The Middletons' shady dealings are being exposed. The Middletons owe creditors millions and were forced to sell Party Pieces at a fire auction. Kate's attention-grabbing behavior at the Chelsea Flower Show was a major factor in drawing attention away from Charles and Camilla.

Taylor Swift: From 23:15 to28:15 Taylor Swift broke up with Matt Healy this week, just a little over a month after first hearing about them. He was most likely the cause of her breakup with Joe Alwyn. Taylor knew about his recent racist and antisemitic remarks and actions. He is the frontman of The 1975. Taylor collaborated with Ice Spice who Healy referred to as racist, making it appear that Taylor and Matt had been together for longer than claimed. The media made it seem like they had a brief romance. It's amazing to see Taylor's supporters hold her accountable.

Comment of the Week: Chandra's weekly comment is Aud, who commented on Chandra's post regarding the Middletons snubbing their creditors. Chandra asks James Mathews and William Mathews why they haven't helped Pippa Middleton.

Slush's comment this week was on a post where Martha Stewart told people to work in the office, while she worked from home. Chandra recalls Martha's statement in an interview that her employees should be available at all times to answer calls. I read the interview where she fired a man for not calling her on Sunday, when he took a bath.

Thank you for listening, chums!
