Riley Keough paid Priscilla a 'one time lump sum' payment from the trust

Lisa Marie Presley died on the 12th of January this year. Priscilla and her attorneys had already moved to invalidate LM’s will before January ended. This will would have given Riley Keough a vast amount of control over Lisa Marie's estate. Lisa Marie made it very clear that she wanted Riley Keough and Ben (who died in 2020) as the executors. Priscilla, however, was so angry that she went to court immediately after she buried the girl. This was a very tacky act, which sparked a legal battle between Riley and Priscilla that lasted for months. They settled it a month ago and didn't release the terms until now. Riley is the sole executor of her mother’s estate.

PEOPLE confirms that Riley Keough, Daisy Jones & the Six's star, has been appointed sole trustee of the estate. This agreement was reached one month ago by Riley Keough and Priscilla Presley. Riley Keough, 34, filed documents in Los Angeles on Monday that were obtained by PEOPLE. In them, Riley asked the court to accept the settlement agreement reached last month. Entertainment Tonight broke the story first.

Gold also adds that the parties save significant legal costs by avoiding litigation. They are also avoiding intra-family litigation which would have been against Lisa's wishes, and not in their best interest.

Riley, who will serve as the sole trustee for the estate of her mother and the sub-trusts that will benefit her twin sisters Harper Lockwood and Finleylockwood (both 14), will also invest and safeguard the money in a way "consistent with the needs of beneficiaries and not influenced" by a Trustee's desire.

Priscilla will, meanwhile be Trustee for the sub-trust that her son Navarone (and Lisa Marie’s half-brother), Navarone will receive 1/9 of Trust, according to the documents. Riley, Finley, and Harper will receive the rest, while Priscilla is entitled to a lump-sum payment of an undisclosed value from the Trust. According to the documents, Priscilla (78) was officially removed from her position as Trustee for the estate of her late daughter on May 11. The change will be in place regardless if Riley's petition gets approved or not.

Multiple sources have said that the legal proceedings were responsible for Riley and Priscilla ceasing to speak to each other. A Presley family member said, "They don't see eye-to-eye."

Riley threw money to her grandmother in order to make Priscilla back down. Priscilla was determined to have as much control over the estate as possible. Riley agreed to a lump-sum payment of an undisclosed sum from the Trust to convince Priscilla that she should be removed from the Trust. My god, what a tacky act by Priscilla. Riley also gave birth to her child in 2022 - Riley lost her mother shortly after giving birth and had to deal not only with her grandmother's f******. I feel bad for her.
