Selena Gomez joked recently that she was still looking for her crush and found one in Zayn Maklik. The news was first shared via TikTok by a friend working at a New York City restaurant. Although it sounds like hearsay, ET Online was able to confirm that the information was true. According to reports, Selena and Zayn were on a late dinner date. They were holding hands and kissing at the restaurant.

It's possible that there is a new romance in the works! After being spotted together at dinner in New York City, Zayn Malik is rumored to be having a relationship with Selena Gomez.

ET is told by an eyewitness that Selene and Zayn went out at SoHo in New York City last evening around 10:30 PM. They were walking in together and kissing as they entered the restaurant. They were not noticed by most restaurant staff or restaurant patrons. They seemed to be at ease together, and it was obvious that they were on a date.

ET reached out to the representatives of both Gomez & Malik for more information.

The two were first speculated upon by @klarissa.mpeg, a TikTok user who shared a text with a friend. She claimed that she was the pair’s hostess at an unknown restaurant in the city.

After explaining that she and her friend worked at hot spots frequented celebrities, the TikTok user shared a screenshot of their conversation. The friend wrote: "Tell us how Selena Gomez & Zayn just walked in [restaurant] hand-in-hand making out and then I seated them."

After rumors and reports surfaced earlier this year that Gomez and Drew Taggart, The Chainsmokers, were involved in a romantic relationship, Gomez has been the topic of hot debate.

Malik, who had a daughter with ex-girlfriend Gigi in 2020, has largely kept out of the spotlight while he worked on various projects. He also speaks out for causes he is passionate about.

He'd largely been away from the spotlight for a while due to anxiety over touring and other stuff. It's not a good idea to date Selena. According to US Weekly, Gigi is open to Zayn dating. He must be happy, stable, and continue to be a good parent to Khai. She's fine with whoever he goes to see." People have suggested that Gigi is friends with Selena, but I believe they were friends in the same way that all celebrities who are the same age as them and don't have beef are "friends", as opposed to being actual friends. Although Zayn is more attractive aesthetically than me, I didn't think this was a good choice. Zayn clearly has had issues in the past. While people grow and change, and he is said to be a great co-parent, who really knows what's happening there these days? It seems dramatic to me, but that could be part of its appeal.
