SPOILERS FOR THE FINAL SEASON OF TED LASSO

Yesterday, I did not write about Ted Lasso’s final episode because I watched it late on Wednesday. The third season wasn't a "must-watch" for me. I waited several weeks to watch the latest episode. Even diehard fans should admit that Season 3 had some positive aspects. It was full of half-finished stories and forgotten ones, strangely uneven storytelling, and Jason Sudeikis sleepwalking his performance.

It's something I will never forget, but I also hate it. Jason Sudeikis acted like he was miserable all the time in Season 3. His misery impacted every aspect of the show. It was shocking watching "Ted Lasso", disassociate from everyone (especially Rebecca!!). As they wept and told him how much he'd be missed, it was shocking. Many of the most important plotlines were told in a way that was not shown on camera. Nate never resigned from Rupert or made the decision to leave. Lasso never told Rebecca or the team of his departure. Colin never *actually* came out to his teammates and told them that he was gay. The choices were f-king bizarre.

I know that Sudeikis had a rough time in his personal life, with Olivia Wilde. He was also fighting for custody of their children. This drama was evident throughout the entire third season as Sudeikis worked out his feelings with Lasso and ex-wife. Lasso returns home to Kansas at the end and lives in the house he shared with Michelle, their son and Lasso? Do we have to believe they are back together? Lasso's final shot, where he breaks the fourth wall while coaching his son's team of soccer players was also... not happy. He appeared to be a man who was trying to make it through the day while having a nervous breakdown.

Do you believe they have set up the spin-off? The Richmond Way? The cast, including Sudeikis and Beard, is basically the same as that of the movie with Roy Kent? Maybe.
