After the "near-catastrophic" paparazzi chase that the Sussexes had in New York on Tuesday, the British media and the American media published a series of articles questioning the Sussexes, their version of the events, and promoting bizarre conspiracies to explain what "really happened" and why Harry and Meghan are at fault. As I've said in previous posts, the media did a lot of damage control, but it seemed haphazard. It felt like they were trying to hide what happened, and how bad it really was. Even stranger, all the heavy-handed damage management has just... stopped. I wonder if something is happening behind the scene, such as the Sussexes' attorneys preparing for a major suit. H&M has also been absent since that evening, which makes some wonder if the company is going underground until they feel secure. Us Weekly reported that "sources" said they still intend to speak out and be heard. Good.
A bridge too far. Prince Harry and Meghan were "shocked," a source revealed exclusively in the latest issue of Us Weekly, by the reaction to their terrifying car chase experience.
Insider: "They insist that their account of the chase was not exaggerated and to say otherwise would be hurtful and out-of-line."
Harry, 38, Meghan, 41 and their supporters refuse to remain silent despite the backlash they have received over their versions of events. The source told Us that "staying out of sight or being afraid to show their face is not something they will do." "[This] has just strengthened their resolve [to keep speaking up and standing up for themselves when they feel wronged]."

I was also a bit surprised by the response, but I'm to blame - I shouldn't have forgotten that the British media loves to lie about the Sussexes in order "fact-check" their claims. I didn't think so many American media outlets, including People Magazine and the New York Times, would also be in on the joke. The NYT literally tried to get an interview with one the shady papas that night. We don't even know what happened. I hope H&M is resolute and that they remain safe.
