Michael Imperioli blasts the SCOTUS decision legalizing LGBTQ discrimination

The Supreme Court announced its ruling in 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis on Friday. This case was based on a completely hypothetical scenario of a homophobic web designer/bigot who refused to design a wedding website for a homosexual couple. SCOTUS ruled, with a 6-3 vote, that every person and business has the right to discriminate in favor of LGBTQIA+ individuals under the banner "religion." For example, a Christian business owner can refuse to work for gay people. The next case would be that Christians should not have to work with Muslims, Hindus or Jews, either. It's acceptable for Christians to discriminate at any time. It's not just about gay rights and religion - I can see how this will quickly escalate - "Christians" refusing to treat women who want birth control, Plan-B and abortions.

The case, as I stated, was hypothetical, or, to put it in another way, an outright lie. Colorado web designer, who brought her case before the Supreme Court, claimed that a homosexual man asked her to create a website for his gay marriage. The "gay" man who approached the woman in question is not gay, and he has never attempted to hire her. Lorie Smith, a homophobic bigot who fabricated everything, convinced the Supreme Court that she was right. The hyper-conservatives didn't wait for a "perfect test case" - they just blatantly lied in order to convince the SCOTUS that anti-discrimination and equal protection laws needed to be drastically altered.

Michael Imperioli wrote this response to the news about the case on Instagram:

I have decided to ban bigots, homophobes, and other hateful people from watching The Sopranos or The White Lotus or Goodfellas, or any film or television show that I was in. Supreme Court, thank you for allowing discrimination and excluding those I disagree with. USA! USA!
