These are photos of Princess Beatrice from various events in the last week. On Tuesday, she attended the Oscar Book Prize as the royal guest, and she wore a horrible ruffled gown. Beatrice and Eugenie attended the coronation at Westminster Abbey (I don't remember if they went on to the palace afterward), the concert for the coronation and the "big meal". I thought it was great that their uncle invited them to these events, especially because Prince Harry was happy to see the cousins. The Yorks were there to act as buffers, and that's fine.
Beatrice and Eugenie were also welcomed by the public. Beatrice and Eugenie are popular, no matter how much we dislike their father. What are the odds that Beatrice will actually become a "working royal", with all the doom and gloom about how stale and old the group of "working royals" is today? Eugenie has already stepped out of the Royal Family and is exploring other options. Beatrice wants to continue being a "working princess."
Days before the coronation the Times of London published a simple article by Frank Young. Young suggested that King Charles ask Beatrice Phillips and Zara to RSVP for the many events piling up in the palace. We're either going to see the Windsors drastically reduce their appearances due to laziness and advanced age, or we'll be seeing King Charles ask Beatrice and other royals to take up the slack.
